Ok my DM is in Iraq for a year, returning in about 20 days... (sidebar Im having a D&D version of the best christmas ever... my DM has been gone for like two years for the army... so he ordered every single "source" book we dont own and had it delivered to his house... the total comes to 28. 4 of them are leather PHBs for the PCs...) with this two year D&D heighatous Ive been suffering from withdrawel and am now preparing to get back into the swing of things. Im making characters like rabbits make babies. The only thing is in my 5 years of D&D every major serious character I play is either fighter based or wizard based. I dip into other classes for some stuff but its mostly fighter or arcane spellcaster... so I dedicated my energies to making a cool cleric and cool rogue. I need to play something different.... so Ive been on a hunt for a cool cleric. Yesterday I was looking through Races of the Wild when I came across one of the coolest prestige classes Ive ever seen. Luckthief (I think... I dont have the book right here right now) a halfling exclusive prestige class open to arcane spellcasters or divine spellcasters with the luck domain. I found my awesome cleric. So heres the thing... Currently I have nothing on me... but am craving development. I need some help pointing me in the right direction.... Domains: Luck Duh... what else Fate is good it gives me luck ability or uncanny dodge (depending on which version), Trickery, if there is a thief or thievery domain thatd be awesome. If there is an unlucky or anything that has to do with luck domain besides luck... thatd be awesome. Any class that gives you the luck ability... Anything that is thievy, or dexterious, or gives you dexy thief kinda abilities (like uncanny dodge).... Feats: Yeah Im drawing a blank. Does a feat called lucky exist? If so where is it. Im taking Yondallas Sense or whatever and the prereq luck feat. Any feat suggestions that are thiefy or lucky? Anything that gives you a luck bonus to anything I want. Anything that gives you a thiefy ability I want. Or anything that synergizes well with the class. Items: What weapon should he use? What magic items grant you luck bonuses? Seriously Im theming this character out the wazuu anything and everything that gives you a luck bonus I want. That about covers it. I dont want a build. I dont need you to make this dude. I just want suggestions on how to make him awesome.... thanks
