Freerider783 08-11-04, 10:44 PM	Hey, I was just wondering if you people had any cool ideas for a totally min maxed 20th level character. I'm startin a new campaign soon with my friends, and I'v never played a character higher than 15th lvl. So if any of you have had some cool character ideas/ concepts of lvl 20 min maxed chars id love to hear them, oh and for the record, i enjoy fighters more than spellcasters, but if youv got a really cool spellcaster im all ears.. Also, it seems i got yelled a lot over on the character optimization board, so plz dont try to point out imperfections with my thread, It's just a thread and I dont wanna start anything over here like I did over there. So yah, just throw sum ideas out here and I'll see what ones i like, thanks
KDowns86 08-12-04, 02:26 AM	Lvl8 sor,1fighter,1spellsword, 10 eldritch night gets lv l 9 spells and a good base attack perfect for the fighter who wants to dabble in casting. use true strike and power attack
Mysteris 08-12-04, 03:53 PM	Well, it depends ultimately on what you want, but you might want to consider the power involved here. At level 20, your character is already going to be amongst the best in their field, probably a legend. A Fighter is going to be a legendary warrior whose exploits will be talked about for centuries. A Rogue is going to be a master thief who will be feared/respected/hated by many, while a cleric would most likely be a leader in their deity's church and an arcane caster is likely to be a legend in their field. The point is, you'd need to think about what could drive them. They're already legends. What motivates them to keep adventuring instead of sitting on their laurels? I'd look at Prestige classes, certainly, depending on what you hope for from your character.
Freerider783 08-14-04, 05:00 AM	thnx, im gettin a lot of replies over on the character optimization board, so i havent really been checkin this board too much lately, but im liking the ideas, i was thinking of playing like: Paladin 4/ Fighter 2/ Knight of the Middle Circle 1/ Divine Champion 5/ Singh Ranger 8. And for weapons 2 +5 Wounding Keen Rapiers of Speed, But I need some thoughts on what I could put the other +5 into, do you guys have any suggestions that I could use?? Thanks :)

Choose a deity with a favored weapon of the Longbow (Ehlonna in core, or Sehanine Moonbow is a good one in FR). The ideal race is human, as you need the bonus feat according to my write-up. With a 33-pt dispersion according to the DMG pg 169, I get the following: Str 12 (+1) Dex 16 (+3) Con 13 (+1) Int 14 (+1) Wis 12 (+1) Cha 12 (+1) Feats go like this: 1-Track (Rgr), Weapon Focus (Longbow), Point Blank Shot 3-Precise Shot 6-Leadership 9-Landlord (from the SBG) 12-Fast Healing (from CW) 15-True Believer (from CD) 18-Your Choice Stats are as follows: 4-Con (Retroactive, +4 HP essentially) 8-Dex 12-Dex 16-Dex 20-Dex
