| beleg_bragoler09-19-06, 05:05 PM | Hi all, I've just started playing again after a year or so and could do with some help with my character. A Barbarian, then three levels of Hexblade, then two levels(so far) of Occult Slayer(weapon focus greatsword). I am picking up the mage slayer feats as I level up. S18 D17 C14 I10 W14 C17 He grew up as a member of a barbarian tribe. The DM has said the suloise? are a local tribe (mongol like). Its been years since I have read any greyhawk campaign settings. I'm beginning to think he may have been the offspring of someone high up or notable in the tribe. Because his family line has been cursed and and he is the last living descendant of the family(a direct result of the curse). The also led to him being cast out from the tribe because of the bad luck associated with him. In the course of his adventuring he has managed to gain some control over the curse(hexblade levels). He has also found out who the originator of the curse is, a wizard (own tower with mortgage :D ) who has currently disappeared. Who he would like to track down and is currently adventuring to gain more resources to do so. First off I would like some help fleshing out the background. Secondly would be ideas for playing the character. On the battle field(dungeon floor?) and off. He is a one-to-one fighter (as opposed to fighting hordes) very effective against spell users but without much in the way of skills. Quick off the mark but doesn't have the abilities to manuver past the grunts. He obviously has an imposing physical presence, I see the high charisma as strong sense of self. He has endured the curse and become stronger for it. Thanks in advance Greg |
