Hey! Im starting a new campaing and i want to be a pally. Usually i HATE being all good and legal, but i think i might give it a shot :P

Anyway, we start at level 4 and i dont know what PrC go for (i dont know much about the class). I was considering the idea of being exalted.

Im looking for good melee stuff, i dont care much about the spellcaster-side. But i really want it to be a fun character to play (versatibility).

Any ideas?

You'll probably get better mechanical advice at The Character Optimization boards (http://forums.gleemax.com/forumdisplay.php?f=339).

Also, it would probably be good to mention what books you have access to.

Its sort of cliche but if you can get you hands on a good mount like a griffon you could use a mounted charger build and use cavallier as PRC since it stacks with paladin lvls for the most relevant aspects of the class. Also if your not used to playing LG characters and paladins in general forget the idea of being exalted because it would be just to hard to roleplay.
