Ariath Ska'Vhor 11-08-06, 04:06 AM	Malor was much like any other shapeshifting humanoid in his youth, taking on the guises of other children to get the nice meals thier mothers prepared for them, stealing goodies and quickly reverting to another form. But when his puberty rolled around new even stranger things would happen. He made several things burst with a word, and could make those he disliked hurt with strange bursts from his hands. He realised he had real power in his hands, and began harnessing it. Learning thing from all around in a new face every time. For a time he did nothing with it but aid his disguise and roles. Until one day he was rooted out and shown for what he really was in the town he lived; a Changeling, but not only that a Changeling Warlock, a vile creature with not only a lineage for deciet, but for blasphemy and evil. He was chased out of town and took refuge in the forest for a long while, only emerging again in the disguise of a dwarven blacksmith. He traveled to the next town and took his life there as only three different people; Dwander Ironbeard the dwarven blacksmith, Elina Silverdawn the half-elven barmaid and Phinius Delendor the young wizard's apprentice. One day he was in the disguise of Phinius and came across a book titled "Fiends and Those who serve them" and it caught his eye. He read it for several days, absorbing it's knowledge and came across an entry that caught his eye more than any other page could. Across the header in large red letters "Phlathor Vedaness - Half-Demon Doppleganger Sorcerer and servant of Graz'zt". And it all became more clear. His powers of shapeshifting and so called profane innate mage were from his Demonic Doppleganger great great grandfather. Phlathor Vedaness is still supposedly alive, or so the tome entails. So Malor searches for him. He is not sure why, but ever since the book was opened he's been compelled to find him... Just kind of a backstory for a character I'm playing in a campaign. He's so cool.
Toloran 11-08-06, 12:40 PM	I like it :) Out of curiosity, what alignment is your character? He seems Chaotic Neutral bordering on evil. The only reason I ask is that generally fiendish based warlocks lean towards evil (which is good if thats your intention).
