I'm hoping some of you recognize those PS2 games. I'm trying to create characters that match the two hero's. Rau and Tati. If your not familiar with these games then let me try to list the d20 info that I see in the game. Once I've done that below I hope to figure out the best way to create the chars. More later on this. Rau -He looks like and is called a barbarian in the game. -There is no proof that he has Fast movement or even Rage. -He does fight very well against countless foes without armor so I assume he has many of the Barbarian features. -Animal Companion (A bird that scouts enemies ahead, retrieves items, ect) -Sneak Attack (This is tricky. How does a d20 Barbarian have Sneak Attack? He has a "Stealth Kill." You can sneak up and instantly kill a foe but this is nearly always done in melee like choking them, breaking their neck, running a blade through their throat ect. Also he can do these instant kills with a bow. This leads to me thinking Sneak Attack, but he can't do it in normal combat (flanking) it's kinda like the Ninja Sudden Strike. I've looked at other ideas in other books where the char can make an auto critical and wondered if that would work assuming the rules stated he had to be unnoticed. -Feats: Expertise, Improved Trip, Improved Disarm, Power Attack, Cleave, Great Cleave, Exotic Weapon Long Axe (need to find the right book again. It allows for close and reach threat ranges. You need to spend 3 AB on power attack to gain the reach range) -Skills: Climb, Jump, Hide, Move Silently, Survival I kinda wanted a core way to build this but I don't see it happening. In the game he's a "name forgotten" that is described as a skilled warrior that protects people with the "mark" Darn I need to reveiw the story I guess. Basically a PrC would be fitting. Know of any or shall I enlist people to help create one? Tati She was born with the Mark of Kri and I want to find a way to create her as well. She's more like a Template. I wanted anyone to be able to have a "mark" that gives special powers. (kinda like the dragonmarked in eberron but also like a runechild in AE.) It doesn't give her alot. Mark of Kri -Detect Evil (The game says the mark itself is evil and her skin itches when around great evils. It describes the mark as a curse. Part of me wants to play on that part of the story) -Cloud Minds (see PsiHandbook, basically Invisibliy) -She has another power but I can't name it yet. She can send "spirits" ahead to scout dangers. It's basically a wizards eye that lets her see stuff up ahead but the bad guys can't see it. Out of body travel? Ideas? This power replaces the bird scout in the game. -She also has the stealth kill like above -Feats: TWF and many of Rau's -Skills: as above. I'm looking forward to any help I can get.
