| Pandaemoni06-16-06, 08:49 AM | Can anyone point me towards any PrCs for a wizard or sorceror with a military bent? I'm not interested in raw combat power so much as a militaristic flavor. The only one of which I am aware is War Wizard of Cormyr, but I was hoping to find a few more examples. Arcane combat-oriented PrCs are okay too, though, as I can always adapt them. Any source is okay (Dragon Magazine, the boards, third-party materials, etc.) |

| Ryvain_Nailo06-18-06, 08:12 PM | Yes, the Warmage class from Complete Arcane is a very militaristic class, since it has the idea of being trained at an academy as part of its background. The warmages are trained in almost only evocation spells and suited most adeptly for war. They can wear light armor and can gain the ability to wear heavier, and they also add their Inteligence modifier to the damage on their spells, doing more damage than the regular wizard or sorcerer. Though they have a limited spell list, they can spontanaously cast and have no spell known list, they know all spells of a level when they gain that level. |

| LordBritish206-21-06, 01:38 PM | There is also the War Weaver in Heroes of Battle. Also go to the complete list of PrC on this site and look for key words like battle, war, and combat. |
| calypso06-21-06, 01:48 PM | How about Suel Arcanamage (I think I got that right) from Complete Arcane? Very militaristic. Has it's own progression though. Calypso |
