As you've probably noticed there are several personality traits listed in the Random Personality Traits table on page 221 of the PHII that are described anywhere in the book. So, I thought I'd go through and add some descriptions for them. Any one want to help?

COWARDLY
"You guys go ahead. I'm right behind you. Way behind you."
You're not exactly a font of courage; you'd prefer to let the others take the risks. You're not so scared that you let your companions down, and fight along side them well, but they often have to drag you kicking and screaming into next dungeon.
At the Table: You never go first unless forced and are reluctant to go anywhere you don't know is safe. The Run feat is a must have, and Expeditious Retreat is your favorite spell.

CRUEL
"There are over two-hundred bones in your body, you know. I'm going to break one of them every minute until you tell me what I want to know."
You show little mercy to your enemies, but where a brutal person tends to end his opponents' miserable existence quickly, you prefer to take your time and inflict as much pain as possible while doing it. You may or may not enjoy inflicting pain, but you know how to do it.
At the Table: You'd prefer a dagger to a bastard sword. You aren't about killing opponents quickly, but prefer the long route. You want to get Spring Attack - so you can dish out pain without getting hurt in the process - or Toughness - so you can take more pain yourself.

DARK
"Boo."
You are a creature of the shadows and the darkness. This differs from secretive personalities in that where a secretive person is hiding something, where as you openly revel in your darkness.
At the Table: Hide is your halmark, and you don't worry so much about Move Silently; you'd rather take Skill Focus (hide) than Stealthy. You enjoy being heard but not seen.

FAMOUS
"No, no. No autographs, please."
You are a living legend, even if only in your own mind. You assume that everyone has heard of you and you have fans in every town, regardless of the realities of your status.
At the Table: In games where reputation is used, you want the Renown feat. Otherwise, you will want at least one Charisma-based skill.

FOUL-MOUTHED
"You @$#%#@$ stupid-#@%$ #$%#ing little piece of $@^%!"
You're language would do sailors proud and get your mouth washed out with soap if your mother caught you. You can't go five words without dropping some sort of vulgarity.
At the Table: Don't put much into Diplomacy, you won't use it.

FRIENDLY
"Hello. You must be new in town. I'm Gretchen. What’s your name?"
You are an extrovert and make a point of knowing everyone by name. You almost never use impersonal titles, even when it would be more appropriate to do so.
At the Table: Gather Information is the most important skill you can learn, not Diplomacy; you'd be surprised how many people get annoyed when you greet them as "Gregory" rather than "Your Royal Highness".

HOOKED
"I know I can't use a two-headed sword - the blades' are dull anyway - but it's an original Ironhammer blade, from before he started making magical blades; I couldn't just let those bastards scrap it.”
You are addicted, though not necessarily to drugs. You might be hooked on swords once used by a famous swordsman, books written by a particular group of archmages, and so on. The utility or practicality of your obsession is irrelevant.
At the Table: Invest in a Knowledge skill, especially Knowledge (History) but any will do, to reflect your obsession.

MILITANT

MYSTERIOUS

PHILOSOPHICAL

PHOBIC

PROPER

QUIET

RELUCTANT

RUDE

SECRETIVE
"That is a secret."
You have a secret. Maybe it's something big, like ties to the thrown or a blood relationship with a known villain, or maybe it's a series of small things, like translating the goblin writing you and your friends have encountered, but not sharing the translation. Either way, you won't share it with anyone until they already know it.
At the Table: Invest in a Intelligence-, Wisdom-, or Charisma-based skill that none of your teammates have, and then refuse to share whatever knowledge you gain from using that skill.

SELF-ABSORBED

SELFISH

SELF-RIGHTEOUS

THREATENING

TRAGIC

UNPREDICTABLE
"What do I feel like doing today?"
You act on your whims and rarely plan ahead. Correspondingly you're actions can be hard to predict, thought close friends or diligent enemies can sometimes figure you out.
At the Table: Buy a few ranks in several skills to reflect your unpredictable nature. Jack of All Trades is a good feet to have as well.

VIOLENT
"Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Little gets your blood flowing like a good brawl. For you, violence isn't a question, but an answer; you're first response to a situation is to go in swords drawn, even when violence isn't the best solution.
At the Table: Any of the fighter feats are a good choice for you, depending on the style of violence you prefer, as are Empower Spell and Maximize Spell if you prefer magical violence.
