I'm taking up straight fighter, excelling in close combat with the falchion, maybe dabbling in archery or the repeating crossbow later down the road. Anyways, the campaign is starting in Silverymoon, which is quite a hike from Mulhorand. Basically, if this is going to work out, I need a good story on how I arrived there. I've got very little as far as a personality down for him, though I'm thinking he's a traditionalist, putting high value in the honor of his people past struggles and in his word. Perhaps a mercenary, though that seems rather cliche... I'd like to discuss any ideas anyone has, anything that popped into your head (those are usually the best). |

Your dm can pick up that and use it to add adventure hooks, eg the bbeg ends up with your hierloom and thus makes it a personal vendetta for your char. There is always the good old, somebody teleported me and it went off course. Now I need to get home but while I am here I will join a group of complete strangers and go adventuring. |
