| Blackshade04-25-08, 10:51 PM | I want to make an character who has DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) Our campaign is going to be placed in a gladiator arena type setting and I have been taken prisoner by the evil people who control it. My character's village was burned to the ground and his family was killed leaving him alone. The shock of the whole incident caused his personality to separate, giving him both a CG alignment and a CE alignment. The Good side of him want to escape and help others who are enslaved escape along with him. Kill his enemies comes second. The Evil side of him wants to slaughter everyone he can get his hands on, and doesn't care who gets in his way. Any advice? |

I'm not so good with split personality's, but thoughs are some basics to look at. I mean it was very unlikly that after the village burned down and his parants killed, it wouldn't just sudenly appier. But you character sound so much like mine, it aint funny. My character is just a Moon elf and his village was only just burned down, so we have some diffrence there. But I'm not so good with DID like I said. Maybe look it up so you can see all the facts, like how long it takes to develope compleatly, how it occers, how people know they have it, all that good stuff. |

He initially catchs on when during his nightmares the opposing personality talks to him, urging him to give over control of the body. |
