He actually digs out the canine teeh of his fallen enemies with his spearhead and ties them to his necklace as keepsakes. Currently at third level, he is of the Fetishing Ultimate Barbarian (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=168661) class that many of you have probably seen. My story that I was thinking of including was that long ago in his ancestry a fiendish drow (possibly cleric?) had a relationship with Carrick's family and actually became so close as to mate with one of the members. Unaware of this horrible past, Carrick continues to extinguish the vile creatures of the underdark and actually gains spells through his fetish, via Ultimate Sorcerer (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?threadid=174004). Now with the USor, the Fiendish path is placed upon his shoulders (unknowingly, mind you) and he moves more and more into evil and insanity. As he falls deeper and deeper into insanity, he must make a choice; Give up this obsession and lead a normal barbaric life, or continue slaying those which have made him what he is and never return from this void of... no return, ultimately becoming evil himself. The only problem is that if I multi-class this way, Carrick will be missing out on a lot of cool stuff, and if I do take these Fiendish Sor levels, how many should I take? I wanted to take at least three, b/c then you really start to see the evil coming out of the class, but with ten USor levels, his eyes would turn blood red which would be a perfect parallel to those which he has been hunting. What do you all out there in cyber land think I should do? Continue in the trail of the Fetishing Bbn or fall into insanity with the Fiendish Sor? Keep in mind that I could still make him crazy as a straight Bbn, but the evil stuff is just icing on the cake. Thanks in advance for your replies. |
