Ok, tell me, does a 6'5, 250lb dwarf sound overly freaky? In his family line, a dwarf had a child by a earth elemental and he is the first in the series of children that does not have the genasi template. his earth elemental blood is so thinned that he only has the height and weight. does thi ssound too bad? his str is 12, and he is a shugenja. we houserules Obtain Familiar and Bonded Summoner so he could apply for them. this sound nice and flavorful? a little help on whether this is too weerd or not

It sounds weird, but then your character is from a family with the same height and weight.

A dwarf of that size would find it difficult to fit into a underground home (unless he had earthglide).

You probably need to work out some of the social mechanics involving your dwarf's family in relation to the rest of dwaven society.

already taken care of, at 15 HD he gets earth glide, but until then, his entire family is of relatively that size, they live in a deep underground cavern that they found to also posses a portal to the earth elemental plane. the city was set up here for that very purpose. and when the mating occurred, well, special accomidations were made for the new offspring. he is of the royal line.

It does sound wierd, but that's ok. I don't recall many Dwarves in OA, but if your DM says shugenja then shugenja dwarf it is! With good RPing, it could be a lot of fun!

I'm playing a human/Earth Elemental with the gensai template atm. Was going to go dwarf but I just couldn't figure out how the mating could ever have happened... not that human is much better.

Oh I see, I hadn't realized that they had reprinted that class.

Well that helps me quite a bit with my character then, thanks. Have fun in the campaign!
