| DecapitateNecKs11-25-06, 10:39 PM | Well this is'nt really fully thought out, I havent even begin to look into the rulebook yet and see how i can do all this, but this is my idea and i would like some feed back if possible.. He would most likely be a human fighter from a desert or middle eastern inspired town(havent figured that one out yet), and he will be extremely handsome and wear a black turban, which he covers his face with all the time except when he wants to bed a lady, i would like the turban to have some magical power if possible(havent figured that one out yet) and maybe some kind of walking stick or figurine that he can throw and turns into a cobra or other venomous snake during battle to help him.. His weapons would be a long sword and a dagger.. His riding beast might be a steed or a camel, and his clothes would be a long brown robe... Like i said, this is just an idea...I would flesh it out alot more once i know some of this is possible and i get more knowledge of the land, people, races, classes, magic ect... |

| DecapitateNecKs11-25-06, 11:05 PM | thats all i wanted to hear really... Thanks...l:D |
| Archmage_of_Blood11-25-06, 11:08 PM | Dont mention it. Take a Rod of The Python and give it a poison bite. Viola. |
| ericSHINRA11-25-06, 11:14 PM | There are some desert based race variants, I believe. Obviously the Scimitar or Falchion would be quite proper in terms of your character's background. I worked on a Swordsage for a campaign(that sadly never started) which used the Desert Wind Discipline from the Tome of Battle and I'm thinking that might be a good choice again, simply for flavor purposes if you want to try something different. |
| DecapitateNecKs11-25-06, 11:38 PM | Cool, thanks for the great idea's.. I hope i can find out more about these things...Some how(Are these weapons in the rules book, Campaign books, Or Novels?) |
| Archmage_of_Blood11-25-06, 11:40 PM | Rod of the Python is in DM's Guide. |

First thing you should do as a player is to go out and purchase/order a 3.5 Edition Players Handbook(if you're using 3.5 that is). Pretty much everything you'll need to begin with is in that book. |
| DecapitateNecKs11-25-06, 11:49 PM | Alright I got that, now all i have to do is start reading.. Thanks again, for the info. |
| Azezel11-26-06, 04:59 AM | If you are now I'd skip the Tome of Battle for now. Your concept seems very groovy. Assuming you are playing 3.5 D&D (and this forum is not excusively for that game, so I cannot be sure) Your best bet would be the Ranger class - use a sword and a dagger, and take a camel as your animal companion at level four. As far as background goes - why is this chap Adventuring? That is an important question which can help to flesh out a personality to rp. |

I agree, so far all you have given as any motivation is that your character wants to get laid. I personally don't see that as adventure inspiring. Try to come up with some goal your character has, you can even talk to your DM about adding in little side quests (i mean really little) to attempt to go after someone who wronged you, or maybe the DM an fit that right into the adventure. |
| DecapitateNecKs11-26-06, 12:49 PM | Im going to start working out his past, today.. As soon i get something good i'll post it.. I was actually going with forgotten realms, and forgot to mention that in my first post.. But from the novels I read some of these things seem legible.. |
