Well i was in a champions game and it ended, but I had a hero I really dug, he is WhiteWolf. He was an uber famous hero, everyone on the planet knew him. He is imortal though and we started up a new campaign in the 2050s and I want to bring him in, I only have one problem....The gm is to lazy to tell us what has happened in the last 50 years and I am apparently a well known super hero and I can't even tie myself into history. What should I do, I have already confronted the gm about this and he doesn't really care, he just wants a background.

That's easy, just make up a background for what your character was doing in the last 50 yrs, including world wide events. If your DM complains, just tell him, "You asked for a background, but didn't bother to mention what happened in the last fifty years. If you don't like this stuff, then tell me what has happened, and I will change it. If you won't tell me this stuff, then suck it up." Of course, you want to be polite, lest you be kicked out of the game. But put him in his RPing place, and make the background around what you think/ want to have happened, or get him to fill in the blank. Of course, you could go with the classic, "He has been training in some remote area I can't think of right now, and has only recently returned to society," thing. Your call.

maybe he has been retired from his adventuring life to get some peace for the rest of his endless life and now has received some kind of message telling him that the world needs him again.

Prepare your sword noble hero! Destiny has given you a new challenge to protect what you love. :fight!:

Or maybe he went back to his home planet to look around, and when he got back found out that his old girlfriend had a kid and has a husband. And now he has to figure out where he belongs in her life, and in the world. And then he finally realizes that the kid is HIS kid and... oh wait, this sounds familiar...
