I had thought up some names but I believe more input could be useful. 1000 cookies to the winner :cookie: he/she who gives me the worst name gets polymorphed into a :turkey: & is eaten by :coolcthul Thanks to all of you, in advance. :) |
| Nelyo09-09-06, 02:02 PM | To steal a name from Dark Forces, Kyle Katarn's old ship was called the Moldy Crow IIRC, but then, I like funny, depreciating names for airships, etc. because it's more humiliating for the enemy to know they've been taken down by the Gentle Breeze (Another theft). |

| Devlonir09-10-06, 02:38 PM | I always like calling any ship my character comes on Deathrap (for those who don't understand, its deliberately misspelled) The main reason i call them that is because usually the name says exactly what they become not shortly after.. death traps for everyone on board. And a serious name idea would be Airbourn |

For some reason whenever I think "fast, with big guns" the first thing that comes to mind is a thunderstorm, what with the loud thunder and speed at which those things can form under the right conditions, so something along those lines might be fitting. |

Not all of them are airships, per se, but they're all quite good in my opinion. The House of Storm definitely has a weather/environmental theme going on, so I find it best to stick to that, though there are exceptions. Dawnsray, Stormchaser, Silverwing, Nymm, Kraken's Hand, Sunstreak, Queen Maab, Forgotten Freedom, Light of Irian, Ray of Light ("The Ray" for short), Raven, Liralen, Stargazer, Tira's Hand [<--better name for a sword, really], Mishann, Stingray, Thunderbird, Angel's Grace, Argent Rose, Hurricane, Equinox, Stormfront, Empyrean Aurora. I like all the names myself, but of them, the Silverwing, Nymm, and Empyrean Aurora are my favorite three. EDIT: And after reading the above post about the performance: Vagabond, Heavensong, Seraphim, Queen Anne's Revenge. If you want to be a little creepy, The Traveler. |
