I'm posting this under character develeopment because it isn't about building a magical weapon and naming it after its bonuses, but naming a particular weapon of a particular character, taking his traits into consideration and maybe helping shape the weapon personality.

Weapon:
Adamantine Shatterspike Valorous Keen GreatSword +1
Shatterspike is derived from the Shatterspike specific sword from DMG
Valorous doubles damage dealt from charge attacks using the weapon.

I'm planning to make it inteliggent and add the following lesser powers:
Detect magic at will
Cure moderate Wounds 3/day
Zone of truth 3/day

Character:
Remeer Danaan, Cavalier of Torm.
Paladin/Divine Champion and Cavalier in the future.

Has a Mare Pegasus called Lamrei, enjoys mounted combat and jousting. Will help people whenever he can and avoid combats as much as possible. Prefers to talk and get around situations, even with Evil aligned opponents. Fights directly only evildoers, people that are proven of doing evil acts. Doesn't like fighting minions of evil leaders, usually ignores them just to focus on the leader.
Always targets the equipment first: "Now that you have no weapon, could we talk?"
Doesn't like fighting zombies and will avoid close combat against them:
"It's not that I'm scared of them, I just don't like fighting... touching... well, I don't even like looking at them. They are like big supernatural roaches for me...
WHAT? I NEVER SAID ROACHES SCARES ME!
...
I just don't like them..."

I think it would be nice to add Detect Undead on the sword, but I couldn't find it.

Thanks!

How about "Ambassador"? It charges in first and... opens up relations... with the enemy.

opens up relations...

Is that before or after it opens up their stomachs?:D

As for the name,

Unyielding Truth
Harsh Truth

I dont know... the powers dont really have anything in common that i can think of, and they dont really match up with the weapons magical abilities

As for wanting detect undead, just swap it for detect magic... its not that big a deal and i dont think it would unbalance things.

Peace

This sword should be called "Judgement" This character relies heavily upon his own judgement and is willing to meet out the judgement of his God.

It should not detect magic, detect undead is fine, detect evil is more appropriate if redundant being wielded by a Paladin.

Cure Moderate wounds seems a bit out of place on a sword at all.
Some sort of smite might fit better. Perhaps Shield of Faith or some other protective type spell to make up for the lack of a shield.

Zone of Truth is perfect.

"Not a particular answer to anyone"
First, let me thanks everyone for the help. :D

About the character:
I didn't write the whole background, but all the "evildoer" idea is that my character doesn't judge people as "evil" or "good" based only on magical readings (those can be cheated) and believes that giving a chance to bad people is also a form of justice. Bad deeds are not only fixed by blood and revenge, but also with good deeds. That's why he chose Torm (a lesser deity of Forgotten Realms) over Tyr as his patron deity.
My friends enjoys playing with him. We just laugh a lot of his naiveness, he is not stupid tough.
Have any of you ever read http://goblinscomic.com/?
I only start reading it yesterday but it made me laugh a lot because it remmebered of one of our first adventures, when we had to recover something and people suspected of goblins that lived near.
We went to this camp and my paladin actually put his weapons down, walked to the middle of it and asked to talk with the leader of the camp. Turned out they weren't responsible for it and they helped us to find the real baddies.

About the sword:
I found detect undead but it is a greater power, not lesser. Besides, he has personal issues with zombies, not with undeads in general (like you would expect from someone worshipping Pelor for instance). I wish there was a Detect Zombies or Bane Zombie. :P

The healing power is there just for an extra help, no specific purpose. I'll take look at protective spells.

Bladebane
Squire (I hope, your PC doesn't have one)
Reemer's Shattering Hand :)

Argument

If you change CMW to Aid or similar enhancing spell, this will be more paladin-like and sword-like, IMO.

Mister Head Lopper Offer.

The name to be used whenever a player can name his own weapon. Best if it's vorpal, but works every time. This is a game after all.

Then, once your group stops laughing, break out a real name. Like Steelbite or Hrunting the actual name of a sword from Beowulf. And Beowulf is the biggest bad@## to ever walk the face of this planet.

You forgot Chuck Norris...no wait, you're right. This planet spins beneath the feat of Chuck Norris!

Apparently you've never read Beowulf.
If Beowulf got in a fight with Chuck Norris, the Texas Ranger would end the night with one less arm than he started, and Beowulf would have a new trophy to nail up in his Mead Hall.

Indeed, Beowulf has to be the only person more bad ass than Chuck Norris, Sorry Chuck, you've met your match.
