I have decided to play a monk in the next upcomming game. The game is going to be set in a Frostfell type place, so i decided to play a neanderthal to help resist that inclimate weather (and the stat adjusts are good for monk). The problem now is that i need to run around and make it make sense

The problem because even more complex in that i am an OA monk. I use Tattoed monk from OA and most of my feats are from OA.

Anyone wanna help bail me out?

For the moment I am assuming that the neanderthal from DND is like the one that used to live here during the ice age. A spear-chucking mammoth hunter who'se greatest achievement was fire and dying out.

To put it simply: I don't think its going to work.

A monk is in my perception a martial arts specialist of some kind who has mastered his body and shaped it into an effective and deadly weapon.

Anyway my best guess is that he was taken from his tribe by someone, another monk, a priest or maybe as a slave by a trader. Somehow he wound up at a monestary (maybe an accident with the slave transport and the monks of the nearby order rescued them) where he was educated by the order and adopted the philosophy of a monk.

Such a story would put your neanderthal in touch with civilzation and get him in your desired class.
