| ZapRowsdower09-09-07, 10:49 PM | Just some ideas: The red dragon bloodline seems to encourage high charisma, so this guy has high charisma. If you want to actually use the sword you have to take either a weapon proficiency or take a level of a class that has it. Sorcerer - Certainly possible and likely; The PHB mentions that many sorcerers claim their powers are from their dragon bloodline. Rogue - Yes, this too, but not some thief covered in rags but the frontman for the party with high social skills. Paladin - Sort of an interesting choice because the red dragon bloodline makes him somewhat sinister, but his high charisma means that he can lead people to do good. Internal conflict. Swashbuckler - From complete warrior. A fighting type that uses dexterity instead of strength. Any Combination of the above. |

The Charisma thing seems likely, and he probably would have a sort of sinister and charismatic air to him. I'm thinking probably a swashbuckler from this so far, maybe a swashbuckler/sorcerer. |
| Terjon of the Blue Rose09-13-07, 12:18 AM | I like the suggested ideas but to me the appearance screams hexblade. A dark class full of flavor which uses charisma for spellcasting. Its really an anti-paladin class which would seem to fit what you've given us. As far as the race goes human works quite nicely but why would he choose to weild a elven courtblade then? Where would he have learned it? A falchion or (if oriental) naginata would seem to work better. Stats your going to probably have charisma and dex high followed by con, strength and/or wis, int last. Names? Karish the Red, Setu Broadblade, Mark Fire-Eyes, John |
