| Darkest9006-30-04, 12:20 AM | Well, I am sort of having trouble with making this guy. On the world that I run my campaign, almost everyone is human, those who aren't are hunted down by the Chamber, the Empire that rules a large portion of the world, omitting only a few city-states and far-away reaches that are being abused by the Empire. Now, in the north, there is the greatest concentration of barbarian clans, who currently pose the biggest (but still small) threat to the Chamber. The only problem is that their pseudo-religion / theology causes a great deal of infighting and lack of unity between them. The BBEG, I have determined, is a creature from another plane that has rallied two of the most feared clans under his rule, and is marching all across the northlands, rallying barbarians under his flag. He plans to unite all the enemies of the Chamber to reclaim their lost lands. Yeah, it sounds like you should be on their side, but its not the case. Anyway, I have decided that I would prefer him to have some shapechanging abilities, and he should be percieved as a fearsome creature that the barbarians respect because of his power. I want to stray away for cliche / unoriginal ideas, so an Archdevil or Orc Chieftain won't work. Something probably Chaotic Neutral or something to that extent. Any ideas on the race / monster / template / class that I could apply for a large, intimidating, shapechanging, fearsome, barbaric, and yet respectable BBEG? Thanks for all the help! - Darkest90 |
