Need backstory for this dude. [Archive] - Wizards Community

(I know the colouring isn't very good)

His name is Marrik Dornkirk, at the moment he is a 5th level Duskblade. My feats are Weapon Focus (Lance), Short Haft, Eschew Materials, Mounted Combat, and Ride-by attack.

He learned his abilities from an elvan duskblade by the name of delacroix, but thats about as far as i have got. I've never been very good with stories.

I would like to have at least the backbone of a story (Friends, Relatives, ect) by thursday, otherwise my DM will get mad at me. And that is always the leading cause of character deaths.

01-08-07, 06:03 PM I'll help. A few questions, though. How much do you know about the campaign world, i.e. what is it like? Also, do you have anything like age, sexuality and personality type set in stone?

Design based on a Fire Emblem character, yes?

01-09-07, 08:36 AM He is 19. he spent the last 4 years training under the elven duskblade, Arlanis Delacroix, and at this point he was enlisted into the army of the iron keep. conveniently, he had also run out of money to pay for any more training, but he has much less money than he should have at 4th level (200 gp:( ). i had never considered my characters sexuality before, but i've always taken it as red that they are heterosexual.

In terms of personality, he has a real hate of people who think they have the right to treat others poorly ,like nobles, and never uses a parsons title to address them. he helps people who deserve help, and if its the right thing to do. he often gives money to beggars (a silver peice or two), and it makes him feel better.

I don't know a great deal about the world, but i can tell you what has happened so far. (easier that way since weve only been playing for 3 weeks)

We started in a place called the iron keep, which was a fortress with massive steel walls. the keep was under seige by an army of illithids (special weak ones), who had just begun an attack using a red dragon. we infiltraded enemy lines, hijacked a catapult and hit the dragon with it, causeing mass destruction of the illithid army. we are in some caves at the moment, trying to track the dragon, in the hope that it will be going back to the illithid leader.

(and the drawing is based on Seth from sacred stones :D )
