I'm playing a Catfolk Rogue (level 10) in a campain that's going to start this Friday. Just to be nice, I'm going to write a bio for my character (he hasn't said anything about them, but I will anyway).

As a Catfolk, I know that they're like nomads, they listen (but don't like to argue for extended periods of time), and that, well... They make nice rogues.

Since I didn't like the names the book (Races of the Wild) stated, I just made one up myself, so bear with me: "Padfoot "Shadow" of the Sneaking Fox Tribe." Padfoot... I've heard it somewhere. The "Shadow" is going to be a nickname given to him by halflings for something he's done (most likely some sneaking-related thing), and the "Sneaking Fox" part is because, well, when Catfolk tribe names are translated into Common, it's 2 words: the first is a verb with "ing" at the end (the "Sneaking" part), so it's an adjactive, and the second word is a noun ("Fox" in this case).

.... That's really all I have. It would be helpful if I could get ideas for things to add in.

It's a good starting point. Now ask yourself why did Padfoot "Shadow" of the Sneaking Fox Clan left the Sneaking Fox Clan. Is he banned from his clan? If yes, why? I don't know anything about catfolks, but they seems to be quite chaotic, so Padfoot should have done something really wrong to be banned. Or perhaps is he in mission, to recover something for his shaman? Perhaps someone he loves is sick and need some rare herbs to heal? Or perhaps the clan have been attacked by gnolls, and Padfoot suddenly find himself to be alone in the world?
