| Frylord03-04-06, 03:57 PM | Yeah, It's me again. Only this time I have a better backstory then before. I still need help. Hello. My name is Garem. I am an air goblin. Apparently, my grandmother had a thing for air elementals. I was born in an immense desert called the Wasteland. When I was but a baby, I could steal the pants off the tribe leader! I later discovered I was kleptomanical. I went through millitary school with average grades, but I applied for Night Goblin Fantic College. I dropped out a year into it. They said I was too quiet and stealthy! Eh, I never much liked the screaming bloody murder and swinging around a huge ball on chain anyway. At least I learned how to fight better there. I wanderered away from my tribe, looking for any town. I soon found it, a small village called Lionshire. That is where I had my first ale. Oh, I can still taste that glorious ale! My mouth waters at the thought of it. After many an ale and many of picking a few drunks pockets, I decided to move on. As I wandered along the road, looking for somewhere to test my skills, I met the kobold Agog the 1st. He was a nice fellow, although extremely insane. He told me he wanted to rule the world. I said fine, but I'm not helping you do it. He shrugged and we made small talk. We became friends, him trying out schemes to rule the world, and I helping him. Eventually, he decided to adventure again. He asked me to tell his son if he ever died. I agreed, and we parted ways. I went to Azeroth City, and city that didn't allow non-humans. I snuck in. Imagine my suprise when I saw him fighting in a gladitoral arena! He easily killed the first one. It was a fierce battle on the second battle, but finally, Agog fell. Somehow, that liberated me, freed me from the artifical barriers of morality. A year and a half later, I heard that Agog II, Agog's son was on the road! I met him on the way. He asked if I had heard about his father. I told him what happened. He thanked me, and went on his way. I went to one of the cities I saw on my travels. I went to it and signed up as a bounty hunter. A 70 year old air goblin bounty hunter. The rest of my story is up to fate. Thoughts about Garem the air goblin rogue? |
| Fithero03-04-06, 05:35 PM | The overall concept is pretty cool... but its seems youve just ripped names and places from other sources (Warhammer and Warcraft) which is just lazy on your half. As i said its a good overall concept, but youve got 70 years to play with, work on it a bit. Whats up with this agog character and his son? Why this facination with ale? Why did he become a bounty hunter? There are alot of questions that need to be answered here (and a heck of alot more that need to be asked) but the character is totally do-able, but personally id make him more or less around 20 or something. Im not sure where its listed, but i dont think goblins even live for that long. Hope this helps, and sorry if i sound harsh. I dont mean to be, ive just got one hell of a hang over :D Later |
| Frylord03-04-06, 06:20 PM | Well, I just love the taste of that delicious ale! I helped that Agog fellow for about 50 years, so I didn't get more powerful. The schemes were bascially me stealing things for Agog. Why a bounty hunter? Why, I needed money quick, but I didn't want to get on the wrong side of the law! Anyway sonny, air goblins live much longer then normal ones! Agog I was my former character. Agog II is one of my characters I don't use anymore. The Azeroth City part is my brother's (the DM) fault. For the Warhammer reference, I was trying to add a bit of humor. |
