Hi
Starts off.. we are part of a fishing community and i'm playing a druid. Keeping with that theme, probably reside in its forest. We can play any part of the city, IE. head of the guards, the Earl or his staff. Thought about being part of the proposed group to build a War College of sorts. Might be an arcane/divine war college or even non-magical.

So my question is how does that sound, too far fetched or stick with your typical druid protects the forest??

Thanks

Well, I would think that building a "War" college would definately be outside of the normal Druid. Druids really are a more "protect the nature" types.
So really, what are the exact principles of the War College? Is it made to train soldiers and be the aggressor in wars? Or are they training people to help defend the city?

So tell us more of what you want the college to do.

You are part of a fishing community and want to be a forrest druid? The term fishing community conjures images of small villages on the coast where everybody has something to do with fishing or fisher-people. But perhaps thats just me. There is nothing wrong with having an aquatic themed druid although there could be dissadvantages if you never see water again.

As to the college of war you may be there as an advisor for ecofriendly war. Remember war often decimates large portions of land and wildlife.

Good points... The fishing community is about 350 people. The term "War" does seem to go against your traditional druid "protect the forest". Maybe a Research College dealing with the art of magic and divinity. Making this college a port for people to share/learn/try/study new arcane/divine spells and enchantments. (just an idea)

I'm just trying to change it up a little. Again, just protecting the forest. The advisor portion seems a good start.

Hehehe, boy i should make a dwarven warmage, talk about different from the norm.

I love to change things up and do something different. I am currently playing a druid who's first language was pig and grew up in the wilderness with a crotchety old druid and his Dire Boar animal companion. His first love is finding and riding new and exotic animals. His current animal companion is a Sabretooth tiger and he is currently hunting for an exotic lizard as his latest project. He travels all over the place in search of new animals, as far as I am concerned he is not a traditional druid but alot of fun to play.
