Hello, If you've seen my posts on the monsters lair or the races section, you'll know what I'm about to say. My character recently had his soul imprisoned into a golem. Now, the character has full control over the golems body, I'm curious what you folks think it'd do to the character's personality?

I already am having him begin to feel distanced from others since he no longer can enjoy food, or smells as they can. He also can't feel the wind on his body, etc. So, he's getting a bit more distanced, and solitary. What do you folks think about how this would affect a character?

General personality of the character before was a neutral good ex-noble. He has his own set of moral codes such as not fighting with women, a union should always be honored, loyalty above all other things. But he's not afraid to break a law when he feels that it's unjust or if a friend of his is being held captive.

First thing is that his alignment should immediately shift one step towards true neutral, which in this case it would actually make it true neutral. Some of his moral codes may begin to fade. He may soon begin to feel completely separated from society, wandering the land.

I'm sorry, I didn't see the earlier posts. What kind of golem is your character's soul now inhabiting?

Most "commoners" would react with fear (or at least apprehension) on seeing a golem. If it is a flesh golem, or one of the more esoteric types as described in the FF or MM2, disgust and/or revulsion would probably be right up there, as well.
Turning true neutral is certainly a possibility, faced with constant negative reactions from the world around you (but is not mandated either-it's still your character)
