| rec196601-21-04, 03:21 PM | My DM has required that I come up with a suitable background story in order to qualify for a feat that I selected in my character creation. I am playing a cleric of Buddha, God of Luck, Travel, and Charm. The feat I am trying to qualify for requires me to have completed 2 quests for my god, one quest to spread his values and the other to oppose any enemy diety, in this case Loki(I know, a real mixed bag of dieties in this pantheon). Could some one give me some ideas on what I should do? |

Thus, you'd be aiding in Buddha's direction, correct? As for the rest, mainly Travel.... work in a travel agency? Or, go on a VERY long walk and ask people to join you on your... holy walk? I really got nothing. I'm too tired, but I do hope that these ideas may help you. ~ Sanchez |

Some charm quests: work as an diplomat or ambassador (could suit travel as well), work as a barrister to help a Buddha's worshipper. It depends what you mean by "god of charm". Does it means "charm & beauty", "charm & sensuality", "charm & festivities"? You could arrange a festival? I believe gambling is more a luck business than a trickery business, so a casino is more under Buddha portfolio than Loki's one. However, if there are some cheaters, or if the casino owners are cheating, you could fight them. Another way to fight Loki could be breaking up a blackmailer guild? |
