OK, got the chaotic, but need to know do you want evil, good or neutral? does it matter? |

| Gejiin10-15-07, 07:22 PM | That's a pretty basic idea: You fell in love with someone. A day or two later, he gets murdered. You pursue the assassin, fulminating with hatred. You finally catch him and kill him. After killing him, you realize the assassin was your most beloved brother. The city guard finds you beside your brother, sword in hand. They take you to jail, but it takes no more than two days before you find a way out and escape. That story might have just happened. In that case, the charismatic personality takes advantage of your character, because you lived through so many in so little time, giving you the courage and the determination to make things change. You're probably still escaping the law, and need to hide and not to tell your name to everyone. Everyone suddenly cannot be trusted. You won't reveal what just happened, you didn't even come over it yourself. After a few weeks of rest, some questions come to your mind: why did your brother murder the man you loved? (there might be something to play with here, for your DM) If you play your character some years after. She still does not understand why everything has happened, she kept within her the grief and hatred. She's probably still pursued by the law. She became more silent and black-hearted with each passing day. Or did she happen to find a way not to corrupt herself with these venomous feelings? Someone? An ideal? Or just an extraordinary resolve? (in that case, you might consider the feat Iron will). In every case, here are my class propositions: Rogue: You learned to escape Law's grip and use illegal methods or contact underground organizations and people many times. Cleric: Such feelings corrupt. In such cases, one needs to cling to an ideal. Worshipping a god can suddenly feel like a good idea to your character. St-Cuthbert, the god of Revenge (Lawful Neutral) might be a good idea. For the first time in your whole life, you really saw that some people were corrupt, that everything wasn't "just fine". You need to take justice to another level: making your own. Becoming some kind of vigilante. Barbarian: You've been accumulating your hatred for some time. Nothing really matters anymore now. Law? Order? Good? Evil? You only want to seek answers. You just know there is something behind that story. You know it, you will find the responsibles and show them the meaning of rage. Anyways, about any class could actually make sense (although I really like the barbarian or the cleric). Still, this backstory is just a proposition. |
| otakuwolf11-09-07, 09:19 PM | well, death master from dragon compendium is cool. Its an archane caster, with some devine spells. you get a cool skelley familiar at first that can die and its not a problem. the best part.....good progression bab. think pale master for two levels in your future unless you have a diamond mine. |
