Need help with Deity and Domain choices... [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-19-07, 03:48 PM Basic idea for this character is that he's a Half-Orc raised in the church. Not really suited for regular duties... he's filled a paladin-type role. He's going to be Barbarian/Cleric. I would have gone with Paladin but it didn't seem to fit his style (There's a difference between being Lawful and performing duties for your god). The task that he performs for the church is that of undead hunter. He's sort of a sin-eater, vanquishing evil and taking on their sins. He's pretty disgusting to look at and be around, most would mistake him for an evil being. The reality is that he's very zealous and a devoted "man" of the cloth. It just that he sleeps in the temple cellar instead of the regular clerical quarters, heh.

Anyways, I need a deity for him, and domains. Any deity is legal no matter the campaign setting it's from. As long as I can find the domains on the SRD.

02-19-07, 06:44 PM Nuetral Good and take a Paladin based god.

Ilmater would suit this sort. I don't know his domains off the top of my head. Healing is one. Pain is another. Good and Law will be up there somewhere.

02-20-07, 08:26 AM Yeah, I was thinking Neutral Good. Ilmater looks really good flavor-wise. I looked on wikipedia but couldn't find any domains. If anyone knows, it would be a big help. Otherwise I'm just gonna go with Pelor, Healing, and Sun...
