Need help with Expedition to Castle Ravenloft character [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-06-08, 04:42 PM I need some with a character concept for Expedition to Castle Ravenloft. My Half-orc Barbarian just died and I need to create a new character. Arcane and Divine is covered we have rogue and straight fighter and DM suggest another combat warrior for survival. Looking to play another warrior that can survive better. Barbarian is out, not wanting to play paladin or no power attack feat. Any suggestions for this concept?

How about the knight class from PHB 2? It has high AC and would be able to fit into the Ravenloft setting easily, just have it be part of an order that hunts down and kills(again) undead. It even gives your DM future plot hooks to countinue the adventure after you finish in ravenloft

01-06-08, 09:20 PM I meant to add I do not like playing Lawful classes. Chaotic or Neutral is always more fun for me.:P

01-07-08, 07:13 PM duskblade from the same book? not as good in stright up melee as a fighter, but it gets some damaging spells

Maybe a swashbuckler. Weapon Finesse. Charging through areas others can't, Fighter BaB, etc.
