Hey, I am playing in a campaign right now, my ultimate goal is to attain the shade template, but my DM is making me earn that. The back story is that of course I grew up on shade and when it came back to Toril I was sent on a few missions. During a mishap on a mission I was teleported far away from shade(the moonsea). I am a Cleric 3/Shadowcaster 3/ Mystic Thuerge 1 at this point. From what I have read, Shadovars are extremely private and do not allow outsiders into Shade. I am trying to find a way to get my party back to Shade without any real problems. I am also looking for a way to work into the shade template. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am sure my DM probably has some ideas, but he also appreciates ideas that we come up with and I am flat out of them especially since I can't find too much in the way of detail about the current happenings of Shade. Also and this is probably the wrong place to find this out, but is there anyway for an evil character to take the vow of poverty feat. Possibly by donating his wealth to a patron such as the city of Shade? I know that sacred vow is required, but is a new feat such as Unholy Vow, giving a +2 to Intimidate instead of diplomacy as a prereq balanced or even make sense? Does any of this make sense? lol. Any input is appreciated as long as its constructive.
