DwarvinJedi 03-30-05, 10:22 PM	I am making a Kobold DMPC in an upcoming Eberron campaign, he will be(secretly) one of the irsvern(type of Kobold), who is persuing Bronze Dragon Disciple, and I would like him to attempt to emulate a Bronze dragon as much as possible, and I like themed casters, so my theme will be Bronze Dragons, so mostly electricity, the problem is the lack of low-level electricity spells. any help? :(
Nuntius128 03-31-05, 04:07 AM	There's always the Orb of Electricity spell. Lesser is 1st level, which has pretty good damage for a 1st lvl spell.
Morka 03-31-05, 03:08 PM	Check in CrystalKeep in my signature. Tons of spells of many sources, however the most recent D&D sources aren't there. Don't stick with only "electricity". A Bronze dragon is able to breath under water and has a swim speed. It has a 2nd breath weapon, a cone of repulsion. They are also able to "Speak with animals" 3/day. Try to find some spells that emulate those characteristics. OTOH, I'm not sure Dragon Disciple is the best class for a kobold sorcerer. It's more the class for a fighter 4/sorcerer 1, since there is many strength increases, and no spellcasting progression.

Yeah I was trying to do more than electricity. and as for the last thing, that is why I am messing around with the class, giving it 1/2 Caster progression(or 7/10) instead of bonus spells(which might be overpowered, so i was thinking of lowering the HD)
Shar_Narishma 03-31-05, 06:15 PM	i recommend you take energy substitution electricity, and then for some fun elctro-doom, use born of the three thunders. Both of these are form complete arcane, and can be really fun, turning your fireball into a half-sonic/half-electircty ball that can knock enemies prone, and daze them. That will help you with your electricity spell delema.
Arkonth 04-02-05, 11:47 PM	Draconic Heritage Feats! Complete arcane has oodles of dargjn based sorceror feats taht give you dragon like abilites when you cast spells and certain spells tied to your type of dragon. It's perfect for your kobold.

DrunkDwarf 04-04-05, 07:35 PM	There are also some nice Dragon-related spells in Draconomicon (several that Sorcerers cast at +1 Caster level), such as: Draconic Might (Bonuses to Strength, Constitution and Charisma, among other things) Dragon Ally (summon a dragon or two) Dragon Breath (pretty good, you get to pick the energy type too) Dragonsight (low-light vision, darkvision & blindsense!!) Dragonskin (your skin turns to scales of the colour of your favourite dragon, aswell as an enhancement bonus to natural armour (i guess you need some before you get the enhancement bonus) and then some energy resistance) Flight of the Dragon (Sprout dragon wings!)
