Hi :) I am in need for a good backround for my new PC in the FR. Here is what I thought of so far... Ilseran has been recently (well, a few years ago, actually) transformed into an Elan. Being a psion of moderate power in his former life, he happened to accept a young woman as his student. During her apprenticeship Seliira did well, but Ilseran began to suspect that she hid something from him. Her mental prowess was considerable, altough she was more into the fighting side. Finally, she showed him her true cold, and completly ruthless self and turned on him. She had just been using him, to train herself, giving nothing in return. Well, thats what I've got so far. I want Seliira to turn on him, doing some unbelievably evil thing to gain more power. She has a certain plan, that involves the death of thousands of innocents. With each death Ilserans conscience is burdened more and more. He blames himself for not stopping her and finally decides to put on an end to Seliira (he doesn't actually want to kill, only capture her) In order to do this, he had to get more powerful, since he was only a mediocre psion (about lvl 8) After some research he found out, that there is a certain psionic ritual that can transfer his soul into a new body, giving him more power thereby. He did so willingly, although the spontanous side effects, he certainly didn't expect. Someone messed the process up, almost killing him. His new body was frail and weak, and he struggled to recover for several days after the rite. It turned out, that inside him some form of unbelievably strong psionic force had taken shape . He sensed from the start, that this power would destroy him, if he couldn't control it. His life from thereon is a constant exhausting fight against his own destruction. What I am unsure of yet, is what race he could have belonged to before. I've been thinking of githzerai or githyanki on the plane of Limbo. I thought of him a s good-aligned character, perhaps neutral good. He is physically weak but trough his sometimes uncontrollable power inside him, somewhat unstable. I hope you can give me some tips on his backround :)
