| trickydevl66601-29-07, 11:33 PM | it's kind of hard with so little information. But I would start with possibly a reason why he hates dwarves? Does he just hate them to hate them, or is there a story behind that? Is there anything you were thinking about? Because there are tons of backstories that this character could have. Maybe why he became a cleric? Also maybe some reasons as to why he's worhsiping the elven deity itself. Was it just forced upon him by his parents and he came to like it? Or maybe he was a nonbeliever and something happened that he turned his eyes towards the heavens and decide to follow him? So give me more info and I'll be able to help you. |

Why does he worship THAT deity (and seriously, please try to remember the name of the patron diety...it'll go over a LOT better in play). Or maybe- you can't remember WHO you worship, so just kind of go along with what your parents taught you about how you are SUPPOSED to have faith in ummm...THIS god. Yeah...sure...whatever, folks. This might explain the domains of Good and War...war and fire seem to be like common themes, so try playing up these ideas. The "good" part of Chaotic good may stem from some protection issues yet unresolved...like maybe how your mother protected you for a long time after your father died in war (tah-dah)...be a bit protective and vengeful while protecting the hurt or injured or fatherless. Just some ideas... |

Perhaps they left few alive after their raid; you were one of those lucky few. Of course you don't see yourself as luck. From there you were sent to live in the Elvish equivalent of an Orphanage, run by the Clerics of Corellion. After many years you grew to hate, nay, despise every dwarf. You wish for nothing else except to see all of their mighty cities fall and each of them to die like your kinsmen did. During the same period you completed your schooling and were taken into the fold of the Church - to become a Priest. In all ways you are a kind hearted soul, except when it comes to the Dwarves. All dwarves should meet their deaths at the end of your sword for they deserve nothing better or so you are fond of saying, if only to yourself. |

I don't know how well that'll work with a chaotic good alignment...that sounds a little on the evil side to me, not that there's anything wrong with that. Maybe a disdain for dwarves would be better. Why does he like fire; is it a passion or an obsession? It it because it purifies, or some other reason? |
