Ok I need help pullingto together this character. I am going lawful evil Necropolitan. Was thinking be a wizard or sorcerer but then I thought of te Archivist, a kind of divine wizard. They are not arcane spell casters but use a spell book or prayerbook. The Necropolition is a undead bace race that can be played at first level. Well if you are have a good DM like me. You loss a level and then another 1000xp when you take on the template. It also cost 3000gp to do all this. My Dm has said that this is all in my back story. He said what good is a undead race with out a level adjustment and not race hitdie if you can not play it at first level. We are using so of the rule out of the unearthed arcana. The rule that we are using are the weapon groups and flaws. We are also allowed on back ground feat becase we are playing in Ptolus. The background story in short: Growing up in Ptolus the second son of a small unimportant noble family he saw little room to advance in life. For his family practiced the old ways, where the oldest son gets all and the longer areleft with little or none to fend for themselves. Because of this he was forced into the clergy, but having no real faith he became a archivist. Throught this neew job he learn of cults that enbraced undeath instead of life. Be coming inamorded with the thought of ofthis power over death it self he stole most of the savings of his famliy and used it to be come a nercopolitan. Then he found that he had closed many doors that he thought would still be openned to him. So looking for another opening of power he came acrossed a group of devils lookingfor agents to help build a power base. He struck a deal with oneof this devils the under boss to the dethroned king of all hell. The deal being that the devilwould helphim build power if he would use this power in the name of the king. This power cost him only souls of his family, something that he had little us for in the first place. Now with great wealth e looks for allies to help him knowing or unknowing. This is the character so far: Str 12 Dex 16 Con - Int 18 Wis 14 Cha 12 Hitdie d12 Feats: Background feat Infernal pact Flaw 1-murky eyed- Wealth 15k Flaw 2-Inattentive- Wealth 10k Human Bonus feat Level one feat Class feat Scribe scroll Spells 1 Inflict light damage 2 Curelight damage 3 Magic weapon 4 Sheild of faith 5 Nimbus of light 6 7 I need help with two more feat for the character. As well of a good weapon to use for him, maybe a sword because of the noble birth. Any ideas for spells I could take would be useful too. I need help with filling in many of the gaps in the backstory of te character. One thing that I do have the name and typ eof the devil that I made the deal with but the Dm has those details.
