| Torln02-22-07, 07:46 AM | Okay our gaming group (7+ players & 2GM's) have now switched tack and are about tro begin a new campaign. All the GMs have said is its Realistic/High Magic with many class/race elements from Eberron, all characters are 8th level. Well we have so far 2 Warmages (1 being a half-dragon), 2 Druids, and a knight. I'm going ahead and creating myself an Artificer. Which I had the idea of maybe being a dragonmarked member of House Cannith. Well here's where your input is much appreciated. The generation my GM's are using seems odd to me but hey what ever rocks your boat. ALL stats start at base 10 and we have 18 points with which to tailor this. (a sort-of point-buy system) So challenged posed to yourselves is this - to Create a well established/rounded 8th/lvl Artificer. |

| Prator_the_Legendary03-01-07, 05:28 PM | Let's see... Spend 8 points on Cha, because that's your most important stat... 8 more points on Int, because that's your OTHER most important stat... and then 2 points in constitution OR dexterity, whichever you think will serve you better (HP, or AC/reflex?) You'll then have: Str: 10 Dex: 10/12 Con: 10/12 Int: 18 Wis: 10 Cha: 18 Two wonderful stats and many average stats. Sounds okay to me. Then you can invest in all the skills and infusions you need to nuke everything in your path. |

On my wish list Elven or Tesselated Armour Bracers of Archery (& mayhap something else to expand weapon options) Dedicated Wright A mace (Disrupting) Googles of miniture seeing (?) Pack mule Handy haversack. is this even possible? I'm still getting my head round the crafting items stuff. |
