| Wobbes04-17-06, 11:26 AM | Okay, so uppon command I drew up a new changeling Bard up stat-wise, and he was without identity until a few moments ago. He is a changeling bard, who is in trying to follow the path of The Traveler (with hopes of finding out who he really is) with the help of some ancient book (The book is filled with "true" stories of The Traveler's life). He is currently in Thrane trying to complete a ritual wich will give him a something cool (i.e some minor special item/ability linked with The Traveler) I....uuuhm...HE is currently finding out what he'll get, and how/where to get it Okay so much for his goal in life, but for the history... Because the changelings minor shape change ability only affects his body I wanted to give him a shiftweave outfit ("City of Towers" page:170 ) to be even more able to assume identities. Then it hit me, The shiftweave allows for 5 different costumes, coincidentally there are also...5 Nations...(Aundair, Breland, Cyre , Karnath, Thrane) So I want to create a different identity with each costume, each from a different nation. As him being majorly spy-like, I filled the main/current identity as being Elim Garak like (Star Trek: DS9) And for the purpose of handiness I'l stick with that name. He'll be the one from Aundair I chose him because he has a big fat mysterious past, and I like him as a sneaky basterd with alot to hide. 4 nations left to go... Karnath, a country with a big military feel to it. Following in the wake of my Star Trek-thought came the next character. Gul Dukat....Miltary man form rekkenmark, yadaya (the rest yet to be filled in) Breland, the main atraction in Breland is Sharn. Sharn is the gathering of filth, (common) criminality and organized crime of eberron. and that led me to Professor James Moriarty (From Sherlock homes) I'd base him partly on Alan Moore's Moriarty (in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen)in the sense that apart from being a sinister criminal mastermind he would have ties to a secret organization, that being The King's Dark lanterns. This would also be the way he would have aquired the book (the rest yet to be filled in) Now I have Thrane and Cyre (The Mournland) left... and I would like to know what your recommendations are for characters (from spy fiction) that would fit with the general theme of the land. Can you help a fellow out? Also any other suggestions on anything I can value, since this is largely a blank slate. Hope you like the idea, and maybe I sparked someone else's imagination aswell.
