Well, I'm sort of new to DnD. I've only been playing Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 in the Living Greyhawk setting for about 3 modules now, and I only see my DM once a week...so yeah. Anyways, being the newbie I am, I can't seem to find these anywhere.

Right now, I have a Level 2 Fighter. I'm a little confused with the attack/damage rolls.

Using a Masterwork Greatsword here: Attack bonus is at a +7...Strength 17 gives me a +3 to attack. Base attack bonus gives me a +2 to attack. Having a Masterwork Greatsword gives me a +1 to attack. I also have a weapon focus with the greatsword, which gives me another +1, all for a cumulative +7 bonus. Am I right so far? Now...for the damage part. I get 2d6+4: +3 for Strength...and +1 for the two-handed grip or something?

In comparison, a Dagger: Attack bonus is at +5...Strength 17 gives me a +3 to attack. Base attack bonus gives me a +2 to attack, and I don't have it at masterwork quality. I also don't have Weapon Focus like I do with the Greatsword, so it's for a total +5. Damage is 1d4+3, because of the Strength Modifier ONLY, right?

In conclusion...

Masterwork Greatsowrd gets a +7 to Attack, 2d6+4 for damage and a 19-20/x2 for Critical Hits.

A plain old Dagger gets a +5 to attack, 2d4+3 for damage and a 19-20/x2 for Critical hits.

I'm going to some gaming event on May 5, 6, and 7...and it's vital I know the rules. I'm trying to make sure I got it all.

Although this is in the wrong forum, you've got everything down right.

Just a point of clarification, since you seem confused on the two-handed grip: All two-handed weapons get 1.5x the normal Strength modifier (rounded down) when applied to damage. Thus, 3 x 1.5 = 4.5, round down to 4.

Yes, you've done everything right (but see inthesto above).

Just post in "What's a player to do" next time, 'kay?

Good gaming!
