OK i am a fairly new player. People more experimented than me helped me build my character but they mostly play fighter. So, I was wondering if you guys could help me find stuff "on my own" to make my spell's DC higher...

I already got:
- Spell focus (evo)
- Spell casting prodigy

With my headband of intellect i got an intel score of 21.

I am a lvl 6 wizard/5mindbender :cloud9:

Thank you in advanced!

Try to be a specialist mage or a Red Wizard of Thay or both.

spell focus evocation with a mindbender? you're going the wrong way your specialty should be enchantment

try reposting this in charachter optimization, you'll get better advice there

If you use the updated rules (Player's Guide to Faerūn), Spellcasting Prodigy no longer provides a +1 to DC. If your DM hasn't bought the book yet, so much the better for you.

Fox's Cunning (a 2nd-level spell) boosts DC by +2. It's your one and only wizard buff (kinda). But chances are that, as a mindbender, you use most of your spells outside of combat... still, it can help offset the pesky -5 bonus to saves vs. your charm person/charm monster spells when your targets are already being threatened by you and your allies.. like during combat.

I don't see how being a specialist mage can make a spell DC increase. Furthermore, Red Wizards of Thay get the nerfed version of Spell Power nowadays, which no longer boosts spell DCs.

Indeed, it seems like a weird choice. If you want to play a Mindbender, why bother with damage-dealing spells? Spell Focus (enchantment) would be better for you IMHO.

Oh, and there's also the Shadow Weave Magic feat that grants a +1 to DC for spells from the schools of Enchantment, Illusion and Necromancy.

Now, you should go check the Character Optimization forums. There's a thread on this very same topic being discussed right now.

OK first of all, i chose Evocation cos at the time I did not know that I would go for a mindbender PrC..... My character was a wizard who needed to survive by herself and she was thought self-defense in a massive destruction way... That's how it all started... :D

Well, thanks for the advice, since i'm new to this I'll try exposing what you guys said to my DM, he might understand better and help me in consequence... Thanks! :)
