This is my idea so far The Concept A Character who believes in nothing, has no loyalites, no purpose and no impluses. A Brief Summary - The Character is male - Young - Was born/built in Sharn - Lives in Sharns upper city - Works construction - When not at work he just lounges around - Because he has no ambition he wouldn't have had any training, hence he's restricted to 'simple' classes (Barbarian, Rouge, Sorcerer, and Wilder) |

Your reason to exist was to be be a great warrior during the war. But the war ended, and a strange and new concept appeared: peace. Your owner sold you to a carpenters guild, who made good use of your great strenght and fortitude. He doesn't like to build houses, but the war is over, so he has nothing better to do. |

Basically an event that makes your character ask "What's the use?" He would also be very cynical towards other characters and their beliefs. For clerics he'd deride them for praying to something that isn't there all the time and thus the gods are unreliable. The same can go to giving ones allegiance to a House or any other group. Why should they work for someone or a group that profits more from your work then you do? The only thing he'd rely on is himself and anyone else who trusts anything else is a fool. Hope? That's for dreamers who know nothing of the real world. Also if you'd make a very interesting character if he's a little disheartened by the fact that he believes in this creed. Maybe the reason he lounges about is because he just gets drunk to escape the pain. Maybe the only reason he goes on with life is because he just doesn't have the will to kill himself. A character that appears all tough-as-nails but really is a tortured soul would make a very interesting character and he'd also be a badass too. |

After working a year at construction he runs into a patron offering enough money to keep his family from having to move to the lower city in exchange for some adventuring work. |
