NoDachi Samurai Help [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-13-06, 04:12 PM So I'm looking for some input on what to name my Lawful Good Nodachi Samurai. Nodachi samurai is a custom class based off of kensai and the samurai, so I'm pretty much just a good mix of those.

I want to be oriental human, but don't want a crazy asian name that I wont be able to remember or say. My party needs to be able to talk to my character without saying "scott's samurai" all the time.

I'm also looking for any links to art sites that feature samurai drawings or pictures that i could sketch my character's avatar from. Any help would be great! Thanks ahead of time! :D

well a normel name is most of the time the best

Like Bob! Bob is good

One of my most Long going charter was name "Jack Vision"

10-13-06, 09:13 PM Well, if my memory serves me, a NoDachi was a large sword used my samurai to slay horseriders wasn't it? Try finding translations around that.

My favorite friends samurai was called Ukyo. Very simple name.

But yeah, there are plenty of good japanese men's names that aren't too hard to say. You can find some good lists of common ones with just a bit of seraching.
