Elaith of House Aelwyn ·Half Elf son of Minor Noble House (Aelwyn) ·Father, Lodir, was persecuted for not being married when he was born, left the city in anger, without saying where he was going, when Elise (mother) refused to go with him ·Father left his weapons, a paired set of Thinblade and Lightblade, for his son to wield when he was old enough, but the House’s leader won’t let Elaith have them until he proves himself ·Mother is daughter of the House’s leader, was quiet and obedient until she met Lodir; now she tries to do what her father wants, but won’t act against Elaith ·She loved Lodir, but was unwilling to give up the best life for her son, and wouldn’t leave the city. She regrets how it ended between them, and wishes she could see him again, but doesn’t know where to look ·Elaith dislikes being told what to do, and will sometimes ignore things the house tells him to do, but wants what’s best for the house and will always listen to his mother – will act to advance his house on his own, if the opportunity presents itself ·Proud of being nobility, will respond to any slight on his honour – depending on severity, may challenge to a duel ·Believes nobles should protect the citizenry, and will help if he is capable ·Acts as he sees fit, and doesn’t necessarily follow laws, but won’t arbitrarily break them, either (NG) ·Dresses stylishly, in reasonably expensive clothes, but isn’t a fop – functionality matters too. Wears green and white, House colours, with silver trim ·Attractive, charming with a quick wit and smile, midlength brown hair – seems distracted even when intensely focused, leading to the impression that he’s untrustworthy with important tasks I do intend to clean it up some later, and put it into some sort of story form, but for now I'm just wondering how it seems as a character concept - he's going to end up in the Duelist PrC, if you're wondering.
