| fridaymorteum02-20-06, 03:53 PM | I'm running a campaign with six PCs, each starting at LV.1 McGowan, a dwarven fighter, handles most of the combat, slaying most enemies before the rest of the party can react (which I've fixed), and his player is a very deep role-player. The character acts very realistically, and solves puzzles well. My question is this - after 16 encounters (combat) and a handfull of non-combat encounters, many of which have involved McGowan, is it appropriet that he is now LV.2? I had trouble with the experience tables, and we're too far into the game for me to re-calculate... also note that most of the combat encounters were quickly dealt with by McGowan himself, with almost no challenge. |

If the character has been in 16 combat scenarios, and a few non-combat Roleplaying scenarios, I'd wager that the character is safely in 2nd level terratory. In fact, he might even be in the 3rd level area. I suggest really looking up the CRs, and awarding the correct EXP, and then adjusting everything (if anything needs to be adjusted) after a game, or some off time. |
