Odd race in Faerun [Archive] - Wizards Community

04-08-05, 08:04 PM I need some advice on placing a character in Faerun. I know just a little about the setting and am hoping to use a character in a high level game, but the DM wants it to be placed well for me to use it.

Can anyone help me out with placing a Halfling Were-Monkey Psion in Faerun?

04-08-05, 09:06 PM you could always try the ' race was gated from a psionic heavy realm' and somehow over time, in the jungles of chult, became somewhat 'were-monkeyish'.

honestly... i dont know... i know nothing about that race. the name just sounds silly to me.

04-09-05, 01:39 AM Mostly it depends on what race of halfling you chose. In general either the lightfoot or strongheart halflings are going to have a better chance of getting by a were-monkey...because they are more well traveled than the ghostwise halfling. The Psion class does not really change placement as psionics arent centered around any area on the surface of Toril. Just choose a standard human region where halflings tend to live nearby maybe close to a jungle.
