| Druss_of_The_Sword07-12-07, 08:49 PM | Ive got a guy whos got one arm and he is a xeph. when he was born his mother died in child birth(obvious i know). his father moved him to a small isolated plateau east of where most psionic wielders usually lie(this is my own world) at the age of 8 his father died and his cousins brought him in and treated him as their own son. his cousins (though being psionic themselves) had been in a human life for generations so they looked more human than xeph though they were still cousin no matter how distant. Because he was older than his cousins children he was often refred to as their uncle so when his psionic powers started showing he was then refered to as the Dark Uncle due to them not understanding of his powers. upon coming of age he decided to move back to his childhood home(the one with his dad) and there he found an old man. The old man taught him the ways of the psion and then sent him on a quest to retrieve a magic artifact. At the place to retrieve it the artifact was stolen and replaced with a curse that turned his arm to stone. he falls to the ground from the weight. he was lying there using all of his willpower keeping the curse from spreading when he rose a rock with his mind and destroyed his arm. This slowed the curse and no longer encumbering the arm of stone he rushes out of the cave. Outside his mentor brings him to be healed and tells him of a place that truly needs him. The Heroes Guild(i know that this was stolen from Fable but i made it into a campaign.) He goes and trains with his disability until he meets with the current party. he now goes on adventures with them. so what do you guys think this a good story for him. Critique and be brutal. Suggestions are welcome. |
