For once, even as a DM, I'm at a loss for a character here. I have the fundamental basics down (as well as some religion thought-out), but I'm lacking in real substance. So here I am, throwing my measly set of numbers and a name at ya'll, in hopes that someone will be more creative than I! Ferin Kas Fighter2 of Averium. 6'3" 193 lbs. Str 18 Dex 16 Con 18 Int 13 Wis 10 Cha 9 Go Go Stats, eh? The basic information for the place can be found in this .pdf: Emblem of Ea: Tenebrae (http://tenebrae.iti.fi/mastertheme.pdf) For the quick-and-dirty, it's a mix of themes. There's some Final Fantasy, some Warcraft, some Dragonlance, and some good-old-fashion Homebrew. The deity which Ferin worships is essentially a Kord-type, down to the Chaotic Good and Greatsword-information. I'm looking for an excuse not to be tied to my background too heavily (I'm an impulsive player and DM), but enough so the DMs can make my life hell when need be. I'd like for his worship to be heavy, perhaps training or something with the Church at a young age to get away from having to grow up in a town somewhere. It would help explain his phenominal physical stats. There's other perdient(sp?) information to be had as well. He's got full ranks in Climb, Jump, Ride, and Intimidate. He also has the feats Athletic, Expertise, Improved Initiative, and Dodge. He is geared to being quick and defensive, as well as versed in getting around dungeon-like situations. He may very well try for Whirlwind Attack, becomming the "Rightious Burning Fury of Averium." But hey, that'll happen in the distant future and doesn't matter now. Ah.. lets see. A few more quirks to throw in, he's got a Breastplate, Large Wooden Shield and a Flail, Greatsword (really now, how obvious was it?), and enough Javalins to make your average Goblin weep. And no, he has no relation to the Vampiric Hero-Deity Kas. With that, I bid ya'll good luck with comming up with an idea! I hope it's better luck than mine! |

You stood tall for your organisation and it's believes. You were a loyal member of the order. Your order went corrupt, and you lost your beliefs in the high standards that always kept you on the right path. Now you fight for good on your own way. Or how about this. You grew up in a castle. You helped in the stables, and sometimes you had to clean some armors and weapons too. Whenever you had the chance, you toke a mighty sword and practiced with it. You didn't exactly know how to handle it but your strong arms made up for your mistakes. One day when you were practising, a knight noticed you. He saw that you had talent and he offered to really teach you how to handle the sword properly if you would be his shield bearer. You agreed and left the castle. You visited tournaments and you and your master made money by demonstrating your swordskills in public (no casualties off course). Now you've mastered the sword and other weapons, of you go to the freedom you've always wanted. Or something like this. Sorry, I've not read the pdf. , way too many pages to read. Maybe I'll give it a try in the weekends. |
