Pirate with flavor [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-09-06, 10:56 PM Its kinnda a more roleplaying game but my chracter is ok he is a dread pirate we are baseing this cmpain in a FF kind of place. I want my character to beable to manipulate metal ne ideas? Ne one heard of mabe anoth d20 game that has a class for this? Mabe a homebrew?

10-09-06, 11:06 PM This might not be what your looking for, but if i recall correctly, the gith are considered the pirates of limbo.

Also, they are know for using these swords that are made of a metal that constantly shifts and warps is shape (come on people, give me a hand here... im drawing a blank to what its called)

Anyway, perhaps your character mimics these limbo pirates, going so far as to try and obtain one of these weapons... though ummm... just... make sure you run away when you steal one... far far away.

Aside from that i dont really know how you could manipulate metal aside from some sort of spell casting.

Also, they are know for using these swords that are made of a metal that constantly shifts and warps is shape, the swords are made of alchemical silver, and are considered a psionic weapon, they can be used to destroy the silver cord of people traveling on the astral plane (come on people, give me a hand here... im drawing a blank to what its called)

yeah, because the Githyanki get only one, and they will fight to the death to protect them, but then against, killing githyanki is what DnD's all about :rofl:

I would stick with the following classes:
For Pirating:
Swashbuckler, Dread Pirate, Rouge
For Metal Manipulation:
Transmuter, Artificer
