I would have wanted for there to be some co-operation between the boards, but the people in CO seem to be more helpful and friendly. Just look at the quality and amount of replies I got for THIS (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=168629&highlight=sisyfos) inquiry and you'll understand what I mean. It is hard to make co-operation work between these two boards. Perhaps it is because both boards think that the other is the dark side :) Sisyfos PS. It is nice to see you here too LordShade.

We cannot give here complete descriptions of WoTC PrCs as they do not fall under the Open Gaming License. I thought you knew this when you asked for the information so I saw no need to explain it. Well, with that point of view you couldnīt even discuss what the prerequisits was, because you were violating the WOC bla bla bla... please... I wasnīt asking for a complete scan of the book!

Perhaps it is because both boards think that the other is the dark side :) I agree that there should be cooperation... in fact, back when the boards were called "minmax board" and "in depth roleplaying" I was the one that suggested the name changes to "character optimization" and "character development" in order to reflect that these were two sides of the same coin. I was joking about the Dark Side comment. Generally, anytime I post on anything that isn't the CO board I preface my comment by saying "i'm from the minmax boards and you might not like what I am about to suggest." It's funny how so many people rag on minmaxing, but the CO board gets more traffic than the two next largest boards put together. There's a lot of us over there that think IDRP is just as important as number crunching.
Sisyfos 04-01-04, 04:13 AM	There is also a lot of minmax activity in other boards. I just visited the Wizards.COMmunity Boards > Dungeons & Dragons > Core Topics > Player's Handbook > Spells and Magic Items board and they had their own "Ultimate 3.5 Sorcerer Spell List" which kind of mirrors the "The Definitive sorcerer spell list 3.5" of CO board. The psionics board has psionic warrior build guide which is as detailed, if not more, as Yekoj's druid guide. Even the character creation guide (the great ones by Trydan and Galahad) both include elements on how the character gathers "useful" feats and skills. The CO is just tied to any character making process. No wizard or fighter rolls a die on the feat list on what feats he takes. It is all tied together around a concept on what the player wants his to be able to accomplish. Some want to build accomplished two weapon fighters, they do not waste their time taking the spring attack feat tree or they can never get the feats to attack with two weapons. Some want their wizards to cast powerful spells, it is part of their character concept, so they take the metamagic feats necessary for that. It is all CO whether these people recognize it as such or not. Anyhow, enough rambling from my part I think. This is still Grolub's thread even if he already got his answer. Perhaps there might be fruitful conversation around this in a separate thread? God knows that we have had character development devoted threads in the CO forum, so it is not such a far fetched idea to discuss combining these aspects here also. Sisyfos
