playing a goblin [Archive] - Wizards Community

any help appreciated...

Background of his:

OtaWai as he is called is rather young for a goblin, but has plenty of experience under his belt. he has spent all his years in the northern reaches and silver marches. his tribe has been under control of the orcs in the area, playing shock troopers for them. fortunately for him he has survived all the pillages he was sent on, as well as all the beatings and torturing done to him by the orcs. he does have the scars to prove it to. half his head is actually burn marks where he was thrown in the fire, he has had plenty of broken bones and bruises where he was kicked for being in the path of the orcs, and that is how he recieved his name.

that was until one day he was given actually props by Obould and recognition in the camp. this came b/c he saw an orc about to kick him out of his way and he faught back. he yelled at the orc "Stop no me kick" and for some reason the orc stopped moving.
unbeknownst to him, he had the powers of his deity flowing inside of him. so to take his revenge he went over kicked that orc in his manhood 3 times, and then walked away, when the orc came back to, he dropped in pain. needless to say no one has messed with OtaWai since.

it was that night everything was explained to OtaWai in his dream. This 9ft tall red goblin came to him and said he has been chosen to become a Warrior of Khurgorbaeyag. he was explained why he was able to keep himself healed. why he was able to "freeze" that orc in place. also why he no longer took any damage, and it didn't hurt anymore when he was burt or thrown in a bon fire.

the next morning the orcs stood there laughing at this goblin. he sat at the floor in front of his hut, "painting" his armor and shield red. it was rather funny to watch, as he had no red paint or nothing to really make paint with. OtaWai was sitting there, cutting his hands with a dagger, then using his own blood to "paint" his armor and shield. he would spend a few hours doing this, then pass out for an hour or so. when he was done he healed up his hands and quickly donned his new armor, and procedded to show it off to his orc chums.

He has gone on raid after raid with the orcs, keeping them healed, as well as making sure they take a few prisoneers to do there work when they need it done, as well as to let Obould get a few kills in.

As written, however, I'd say this here goblin very much wants to impress somebody. Between his alignment and Intelligence score, I'd say he's very likely to do things he really shouldn't - especially if operating in a city environment - to garner attention and respect.

03-05-07, 12:05 PM definately.. he is looking for that. he wants people to look up to him. the basics behind the game is that it is an orc raiding camp. anyone that can hold there own there is welcome. in the game there is 1 human, 1 goblin, and 4 orcs. he has proven he deserves to be there, and doesn't want to take crap for being a goblin, but wants people to respec him.

just wondering how people see him reacting in different situations and such, or how he should interact with the others in the group..
