07-23-06, 05:16 PM unless two-weapon fighting is common in your campaign world, ask yourself why said character uses two weapons instead of one. maybe he's part of a unique school or something. Or perhaps he just thought one day "Two weapons is better than one" and started doing it. Was he influenced by someone to fight with two weapons? who influenced him, then detail that person. just think about why he does it and what in his past makes him do it.

07-23-06, 07:21 PM How about a thug or an enforcer on run from his former bosses? Honed his skills of two weapons in hundreds of streetfights and illegal gladiatioral games in more shadowy parts of some major city?

Now on run as he refused to take a dive in last battle and looking for good way to make 10'000 gp for his boss really fast, before his pet Ogre comes and collects?
