Psalm_of_Chaos 08-10-06, 07:21 AM	Well, over this weekend my friends and I are going to be getting the basic needs for playing the Eberron campaign setting. But I'm not as to what I'm going to play... I know I'm gonna play a Psionic class (most likely Soulknife), and I'm interested in the kalashtar... but unsure of a proper background for such a character... I'm planning on making him Lawful-neutral instead of L-G, because... he may be a sworn enemy of the Inspired, but he'll readily use wicked tactics to put his foe to a disadvantage and takes pleasure in watching them suffer, also he's not too concerned with the saving the world thing, he wants to concentrate on his psionic training and the extermination of the inspired... ... if you've got any tips as to better the basic outline, it'd be muchly appreciated... Devlonir 08-10-06, 04:50 PM	Well first of all, as far as the Kalashtar are concerned.. working against the Inspired IS saving the world ;) Second, as far as backgrounds go. You can make it as simple as him being trained in one of the kalashtar monestaries and going into the world to use his training. Fun thing about Kalashtar are their ancestors. Who is his ancestor quori? And what kind of traits did he get from it? And what does it mean for his daily life? And how well does he go around with other kalashtar with the same ancestor, or with certain different ones? Details are all when it comes to a kalashtar background imo.
