I am in a Kalamar campaign playing as a Golden Halfling druid, with his tiger companion: Calvin and Hobbes. It is a lot of fun and rocks.
My problem is this: I am currently 5th level and am about to reach 6th level (450 exp or so) and I have no Idea what class/prestige class I want to take.
I don't think I really want another druid level, as I'm not that interested in wild shape.
Any thoughts?

Well, wildshape is the best druid ability, you really should take it if you want to keep up in terms of power. However, if you DON'T want to, then choose to progress something else. Beastmaster from Complete Adventurer is great to increase your animal companions. What books do you have avaliable? And what are you looking to focus on with your character?

If you want to focus on wildshape MOMF, if you want to focus on spellcasting, then there are plenty of divine PrCs. In all honesty, you could just go druid 20... pretty hard to beat that.

Vermin Keeper (Underdark) Wild Shape into Vermin, Animal Companion can be a Vermin
Master of flies (Savage Species) Wild shape into swarms
Oozemaster (can't quite remember) Wild Shape into oozes

Definitely take a level or two of Beastmaster if you can to make Hobbes more powerful. After that, it would hurt your effectiveness a little, but multi-classing over to an illusionist-type wizard sorceror and proceeding the rest of the way with arcane caster levels/illusionist PrCs would be SO Calvin. Spaceman Spiff in the dungeon, anybody?
(oh, and I normally think dinosaurs are cheesy as all get out in a D&D game, but a couple more levels of beast-master would let you get a second animal companion, and we all know how much Calvin loved dinosaurs).

I was thinking perhaps the prestige class from the Masters of the Wild "Windlord" which beefs animal companions without having to focus on having lots of small animal companions. Or I might decide to just stay druid, so I can be able to cast "Storm of Vengeance" under my own steam (without using a magic item). Plus epic druid would be cool...
